    Join the Chamber for their Annual Duck Race!! Food & Drinks and loads of FUN!!

Each Duck entry is $20...several chances to win!! Each heat 1st place winner will receive a $20 Cash Prize.
    Final Heat Prizes: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $300, and 3rd Place $200

The Annual Highland Games at the River Bend,

    July 18 thru 20th, celebrate with bag pipes, various traditional competitions, lots of vendors, merchandise, Food and Music!!!

Traditional events include: caber toss, the stone put, and the hammer throw.

Kootenai River Quilt Fest

Sponsored by the Kootenai Valley Quilt Guild, The Annual Kootenai River Quilt Fest is held at the Fred Brown Pavilion. View many types of quilts created by members and friends. Enjoy the music of "For God & Country", an acoustic group that enjoys sharing Gospel, Country, and Blue Grass music. Drop in and observe, share, ask questions and chat with members demonstrating machine and hand quilting techniques. Bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic among the quilts at the pavilion.

Jul 25 - Jul 26   PRCA Kootenai River Rodeo
This is a PRCA rodeo!!  Includes Saddle Bronc, Bareback, Tie Down, Team Roping, Bull Riding, Barrel Racing and Steer Wrestling.  There is lots of vendors for food and a beer garden as well.  Gates open at 4:30 pm both days with the event starting promply at 7:30pm. 
 
Mechanical Bull for the cowboy or girl in all of us!  And live music to follow both nights after each rodeo performance!
 
So grab your boots and come cowboy up with the PRCA Kootenai River Rodeo !!
